Digital Credential Program

What?

MPMA offers a Digital Credential, or Digital Badge, to support professional development in the museum field. Those meeting the eligibility criteria  can earn  badges in recognition of their engagement and accomplishments with MPMA. When you earn, display, and share badges, you will receive attention from the museum community about your professional experiences.

Why?

Collecting Digital Credentials shows accomplishments in specific museum areas like collections, education, exhibits and community engagement.  These badges can be shared across social media platforms, blogs, and resumes.

Badges can impress colleagues and future employers.

Badges document successful committee work, sessions and workshops attended.

Digital credentials are widely recognized and trusted in many industries as a way to showcase qualifications and provide evidence of certifications.

How?

For a small $15 fee, participants who attend a minimum of eight hours in a specific subject area at MPMA's Annual Conference can be awarded a digital credential (or badge).

Sign up with your conference registration to receive the necessary forms and earn your badge.
