What is the LGBTQ PIN?

LGBTQ is a Professional Interest Network of the Mountain-Plains Museums Association.

MISSION

Mission: The mission of the LGBTQ+ would be to provide a space where members in the MPMA region can have a dialogue about relevant LGBTQIA2S+ topics/issues that relate to the museum field.

Purpose 

This group will be a resource for members in the MPMA region to:

• Be a visible presence for museum professionals who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ including allies.
• Promote diversity, equity and inclusion with respect to sexual orientation and gender identity
• Encourage active participation and engagement within the MPMA region

HOW TO JOIN

MPMA Members: Please sign in and go to your profile.  You can edit your profile and choose this PIN and/or any of the other PINs that you wish to join from a checkbox list in your profile.  Download the step-by-step guide. 

Non-Members: Please fill out the PIN Sign-up Form and you will be added to this MPMA PIN.
