MPMA's Planned Giving ProgramMPMA’s Planned Giving ProgramMPMA is pleased to announce a new planned giving program that allows members and nonmembers to make a financial gift that meets their financial needs and leaves a lasting impact on our organization. Planned Giving encourages donors to make a legacy gift to a charitable organization while realizing tax savings. If you are looking for a secure source of fixed income, Planned Giving is a way to do that AND benefit our organization. Receive a tax deduction and make a gift that pays you income for life. Donations of all size are possible. MPMA has formed a Planned Giving partnership with UBS financial advisors. This partnership allows peopleto give back to the organization through a fund designed to grow over time. This fund will support special projects, staffing, and other key needs for future generations of MPMA members while also meeting your financial needs. Our partnership with UBS means that their financial advisors will work directly with anyone considering a donation of stock, properties, insurance, vehicles, or cash to the Planned Giving fund. Neither MPMA staff nor our volunteer board or committee members will provide financial advice, but we will do our best to make it easy and comfortable for you to give by connecting you with a professional UBS financial advisor. They are well-versed in a variety of planned giving activities, from setting up a charitable remainder trust to creating a multi-year pledge, and can help you balance your financial needs and charitable desires. It is never too soon to plan your charitable giving and we hope you will keep MPMA in mind when you consider your options. The leadership of MPMA wants to make it easy for people to give so contact either Planned Giving Committee Chair Jay Smith (jay.smith@state.sd.us) or MPMA Executive Director Justin Jakovac (director@mpma.net) and we will put you in touch with a UBS agent. | In This SectionQuick Links |
